Leaves of tulasi are diaphoretic, antiperiodic, bronchitis, gastric. The tea prepared from Holy Basil is used for cough, cold and indigestion. It is used both internally and externally. Intreanlly it used as blood purifier, stimulant, cardio tonic also useful in the skin diseases.
It possess anti-microbial effect , the oil of Holy Basil have antifungal and anti viral properties. Tea prepared from leaves of the Tulasi are used for many fevers such as malaria and dengue fewer.
